Let’s talk about colour rendering index<\/h2>\n

In addition to colour temperature, light sources have another very important indicator of lighting quality – the colour rendering index (CRI).
\n
\nColour rendering index <\/strong>– indicates how well a light source can reproduce the true colour of an object for our vision (human eye) and how ‘natural’ an artificial light source reveals the difference between colour shades.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CRI ranges from 1 to 100 and has no units.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Most often, in the industry<\/h2>\n

luminescent bulbs with a colour rendering index of Ra70<\/strong> and a colour temperature of 6500K<\/strong> were used most often.<\/p>\n

This is due to the low<\/strong> cost of phosphors with such characteristics (the substance that converts the ultraviolet radiation of the lamp into visible light) and the low level of attention paid to occupational safety in previous years.<\/p>\n

At first glance, this may not seem to be an important feature, but poor colour rendering<\/strong> leads to faster fatigue of staff, changes in the perception of products in stores, resulting in a decrease in sales, a decrease in the concentration of students in schools, an increase in rejects in production, changes in the perception of prints, paintings, textures, shades and much more.<\/p>\n

It is therefore highly undesirable<\/strong> to neglect this aspect, both in business and at home.<\/p>\n
